NCACC Thirty-Seventh Annual Meeting—Whitefish Montana, August 7-13, 2010

Lodge and Lake View, Grouse Mountain Lodge

The 2010 annual meeting took place at the Grouse Mountain Lodge in Whitefish, Montana, August 7-13, 2010, hosted by Ed Smith, Clerk, Montana Supreme Court. Program Chair Cynthia Rapp and the Program Committee put together an exceptional educational program. A CD of educational materials was distributed to members who attended the conference. In addition, Corrin Gee, Education Attorney at the Federal Judicial Center, made her presentation: "Working With You Is Killing Me," available as slides (pptx) or as a PDF (1.06MB).

Whitefish and the surrounding area make up one of the premier travel destinations in Montana. Glacier National Park—only 23 miles away—will be holding its centennial celebration during the summer of 2010.

Getting There

Grouse Mountain Lodge is located one mile west of downtown Whitefish on Highway 93 and is only 11 miles from Glacier Park International Airport, which services direct flights from Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Salt Lake City, and Seattle, on Northwest, United, Delta, SkyWest, and Horizon Airlines. Attendees can also travel by train—Amtrak’s Empire Builder arrives twice daily in downtown Whitefish. Grouse Mountain offers a free shuttle from the airport and the train station to the lodge.
